I've read always believe your gut feelings.

Remember when I said I was feeling out of sorts yesterday? Well there was a reason. I think I may have been channeling all the frantic activity of my friends and family.

Yesterday at Storvik Novice Tourney their Majesties Valharic and Arielle set me on vigil for the Order of the Laurel.

I had NO idea what-so-ever because everything that went on was what we usually do at an event. We bring pavilions, we bring enough food to feed an army and all the usual folks were there.

Absolutely Everyone, and apparently this was no small group, kept the secret.

I'll post more as my brain sorts out all the data.

They told me about your impending elevation during my vigil last week and I've been practically going nuts waiting to say congratulations! It takes about a week to hit the ground. Write it down, before you forget stuff.

Did you hear about Molly too? She received her writ on Saturday. She will sit vigil on Sunday of War Week up on the battlefield.

Thier Majesties announced the both of on the same day because they know how much it would mean to each of us! The axis of evil Baroness! hehehe!

Oops! Thank you!

I have been writing like crazy trying to remeber as much as I can in the vigil book I was given. I know that the mom of one of apprentice sisters took lots of photos and so did Ivan.

Sounds familiar - I found out about an upcoming elevation for someone whose work I have long admired, during my vigil. I didn't recover until a couple of weeks later, close to his elevation (due to the aforementioned proposal), but managed to squeak out a painted box, a small personal gift, and a fun gift from Treasurecast (I think you guys know which one I'm referring to) out in 2-day mail to his acting-Laurel.

Still waiting to hear word of whether or not that one happened, but it's really exciting to hear confirmation of a friend getting recognized for their work.

Yippee!!
