It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas.
Today we have worked on putting up some outside lights and the Christmas tree. I took a couple pics of the tree. I'll post photos of the outside when it stops raining.
We love Christmas around here at Haus Charlottenburg. We love the decorations, the music, the food, the cookies. (God how we love the cookies!). We love the friends and family. Our tradition is to set up the decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving and then take them down the weekend after New Years Day.
Our tree the past few years has been leaning toward a beach theme with starfish of various varieties, shells, sea animals etc. This adds to all of the blown glass ornies that we love too.
Tommorrow at work my department is decorating two trees in our areas and having a small pizza party to celebrate. I really looking forward to it because it's fun and the residents really love the decorations.
sigh. I'm glad that Christmas is here again!
