I have this vision of Swedish meat balls and subs - underwater type targets shaped like meatball subs...and moving targets of swinging meatballs... but then i have been known to have odd ideas myself.

In retrospect...perhaps you could use Wasa bread - which I suspect is second cousin to a thin brick and should crack and shatter unless soaked in a bucket of water overnight.
