So far I have received corrections on my english 3 times this week. All because of what we here in Bright Hills have decided to call our biggest event of the year. I guess I should be glad that somebody reads my posts.
It is for the record being called... "ALL THINGS MARSHAL"
Yes, It's in the Acorn as that folks.
Yes, it's what we are calling it and we are keeping it that way. sigh....
It is named that for all of the activites we do in the SCA that require MARSHALS and some things that don't.
It at this point "ATM" looks to be the biggest equestrian event this side of the Mississippi.
Combat and target archery, melees and tournaments, thrown weapons, hound coursing, equestrian and siege weapons galore!!
The A&S activites will have a MARTIAL theme. Wood working, metal working, leather working, stone carving, armor making, Heraldry, you get the idea. There will be space for static and active display areas. There will be classes and training for MOLs and Marshals. There will be room for merchants.
It's a 3 day event, July 1-3, at the Dupont Equestrian Center in northern Maryland near the PA/MD line.
Don't just write and tell me I can't type...
VOLUNTEER TO TEACH!
Thank you, I'll go back to my corner now.
