The end is coming soon....
Jun. 7th, 2005 08:20 amI'm getting to the end of the lion sampler I am working on for Nancy Spies. I will miss it greatly when it's gone. I have a few more stitches on the last lion and then I fill in the rectangle with the alphabet and the back round. Maybe by next week?
I'm also busily sewing beads on napkins and have 3 ladies who have asked if they could help with the embroidery. I am more than happy to let others in on the project. 1) many hands make for light work, 2)I am thrilled to be able to convince more folks that learning embroidery is fun and you can make some damn good looking stuff with just a little practice. 3)I like to encourage folks to try something new that may be just out of their comfort zone.
Before long they find a new skill is comfortable after all. They then make cool stuff and the crowds go wild for them!
