I had a good time.
Aug. 22nd, 2005 08:37 pmI've been reading blogs and some folks have been noting that Pennsic wasn't what they had hoped this year. Maybe I'm a goober but I had a great time. I came home sick as a dog with a cold but I had a great time.
I got to stand guard at a vigil without the very real threat of being struck by lightning this time! I count that as a success!
Okay, so the folks in the camp behind us tested us sorely with thier horn honking, drum pounding and yelling until exactly 2am. (Yes I know dear readers that quiet time at Pennsic is from 2am until 7am but a group does not have to make noise as loud as they did right up until 2am to have a good time. There were a lot of campers trying to sleep that were not from thier group and within 30 feet of thier fire ring & late night knucklehead fest.)
I'd like to go and give thier mothers a good hard shake for raising such inconsiderate adults.
I'll go back to my needlework now.....
