Halloween is here!
Oct. 31st, 2005 12:58 pmI like halloween. I always have but since I have become a grown-up my ability to celebrate this fun holiday has waned.
Now you may think this is an odd thing to hear from a woman who currently dresses up as a viking, a Japanese peasant, a middle class byzantine, a middle class anglo-saxon, a middle class norman, and in my younger (read here *thinner*) days, a middle class Elizabethan, and a greek noble. All on a regular basis. It's not the same, those are clothing. I do that for fun, yes, but I want to be able to do it for sillyness and candy!
Sigh, I guess I'm getting old. I will have to sit by my front door and live vicariously through the kids who trick or treat at my door tonight.
