Holiday Faire and everything.
Nov. 21st, 2005 07:59 amI had a good time at HF but then I always do. So many friends to see. Since none of us are responsible for any activities other than ourselves we have an especially good time.
My candles received a positive response. I'll need to check the SCA calenders to see where I might merchant next.
The next project is to rebuild my inventory and try some new things I've found in a book. I had enough for one table but I want to be able to have enough stock for 3 tables. The next computer project is to design narrow wrappers for each pair of candles with a logo of some sort. I also need to continue to prowl the thrift stores for more wooden bowls, baskets etc. to display my items in. I like to see them in the baskets with a nice matching napkin under them.
My OP lion is in a hold pattern right now until I get the silk colors I need. It's stretched on the slate frame and ready to go. I've emailed Fabric Dragon about more silk. I'd like to purchase it through an SCA merchant if I can.
I've been working on my Rozashi at fighter practice/A&S nights lately. The section I'm working right now does not require quite so much concentration. I want to finish these up so that I can display them completed.
Turkey day is only 4 days off! I got me a big honkin' turkey of the 21.5lb variety! Mmmmmm, turkey goodness! The parades will be on TV too! Yea! Mmmmmm, pumpkin pie!
Ahhhh, warm kitchen!
