Today is TAG!
Jan. 22nd, 2006 09:27 amI really look forward to this day each month. It's a time for friends, food, and fun!
The Bright Hills Textile Arts Guild (hense TAG) is a very low key, unstructured group. We get together once a month and work on textile projects, talk, laugh ALOT, and snack. We share our projects, help each other, and just enjoy each others company. Girlie time, except for CHarlie who is the smart male of the barony who figured out long ago that if you learn to do textile stuff, you get to spend an entire day with a room full of women who think you are wonderful!
Anyone can come, you don't even have to work on SCA related projects if you don't want to.
Today I will be taking my socks, my Rozashi and Nancy's project to work on. I might even get in a little period jewelry research if I'm lucky.
The whole afternoon is relaxing and joyful. Sigh!
