Up off the floor!
Feb. 15th, 2006 06:02 pmI have spent the better part of 2 hours setting up the professional kitchen shelf unit I purchased at Sams Club. I built it to be two 3 shelf units instead of one tall unit. It is in the back room holding all sorts of SCA camping gear, feast gear, light lunch gear, and sundry other storage boxes now. I have room in the basement! Who Knew?
I want to buy two more. One for tools/paint/household stuff and another for general storage. I like the neatness!
Earlier today I packed all of the christmas storage bins back under the basement stairs where it fits neatly. I then put the hoards of Bright Hills Gold key in the large cubby where the christmas had been. I feel better not having all that fabric next to the furnace even if it was stored in plastic bins.
Man, we need to thin down the gold key stash. Folks have been very generous in donating items to us to lend to newbies but do we need 10 tubs worth? The barony chatalain and I need to inventory what is there and get some sort of order to the mayhem, sell the stuff we can't use and then use the money to fill in the items we really need. I notice we are very short on chemise's and men's undertunics and men's over tunics.
I'm getting over the winter blahs and that means spring cleaning time at Chez Charlottenburg!
