I am invested due mostly to the efforts of many many kind people.
If those people had not been there, there would be no ceremony, no regalia, there would be no feast, no site, no first aid, no fighting, nothing to buy, no where to sit, no one to take notes, no one to do the paperwork, no one to sweep or wash dishes or put tables and chairs away, no one to hang the banners, no one bring the stuff and take it back again. To all those people I am profoundly grateful.
This is not about Martelle it is about Bright Hills and the SCA. I hope that my efforts as Baroness will do these people proud and inspire them to continue doing the things they do as a matter of course because they know they are part of the dream.
