I have a question for those who do scrapbooking....

I have my design worked out for my sooper secrit embroidery project and I have one question-

Stamp Pads,
what kind of ink is the type that can be used on fabric and is permament? Using a stamp pad is not manditory but would make my life easier for laying out this project on the ground cloth.
