I like A&S competitions, a lot....
and not just because I was an MOAS and former Deputy for Tempore Atlantia. I like them because a competition gives me the challenge to design and make a project for it. Yes the feedback is helpful and I like to receive the judging forms. Winning is great but I'm not upset if I don't win.
The challenge to make a thing to a specific theme for a competition is the best part. I'm a process artisan and being "dared" or "double dog dared" to make an item is extremely good fun for me! There's the research, and the learning, and the making. Then in the end I end up with a cool item!
