My project stress level is goin' down!
Mar. 13th, 2008 07:42 amYep, I was kind of at a standstill in my SCA projects due to the backlog of unfinished projects staring at me HARD from the pile.
See my pre-dated entry.
It’s amazing the psychological strangle hold these things can have on you. I started them all with the best of intentions but got sidetracked by being Baroness, life, other projects, etc. I felt geeze I can’t start something new it would just add to the PILE! Believe it or not, new projects that I have the supplies for but have not started yet do not bother me nearly as much. I have not started work on them and then stopped. That’s the rub.
So I kicked myself in the ass and said "Hey! You’ve got an apprentice now! Set a good example for God’s sake!". I’m plugging through and if it’s partially finished, getting it done and put away.
I’m not particularly worthy of any sort of admiration. Save that for when I start AND complete a project in a reasonable time for the project.
