Day one MD Sheep and Wool

Had one heck of a time! There were a boat load of us and we spilled out of our tent and the crowd loved us!

We had 2 knitters, 2 Nalbinders, 6 weavers (floor loom, warp weighted loom and narrow ware), 4 embroiderers, 3 lace makers, 2 sprangers, 2 hand spinners, 3 finger-loop braiders, 3 husbands,
and a partridge in a pear treeeeeee.....!

Highlights-

My apprentice Katerina stopped by, she was on call on our end of the county.
I'm always glad to see her.

I saw a lot of SCA folks who just came by to say hi.
I visited with my home school friends who had a booth.
The boy scouts had fantastic fresh brewed sweet tea!
There was so much yarn! I will buy some for socks tommorrow.
I talked about my favorite subject all day, embroidery!
The portajohns were close by and were not crowded.
Did I mention all the fibers and yarns?
Did I mention the two sweet creas on display just down from us?
Sigrid was a great help to me today. I might be over my nalbinding hump now.

I hope to get a t-shirt tommorrow, the line was too long today.
I hope to buy some new yarn for socks for me!
I hope to pick up some lambs pride to try nalbinding with.
