If I can offer 2 pence.. Having an attendant to help you keep track of things is a good idea, but you may want to line up several folks that are willing to do this in an ongoing capacity. A couple of friends were head ladies, and after a while they got burnt since they would get volunteers that thought that attending was a breeze. when they saw it was work, they'd dissappear, or just show up in time for court.
Also, make sure if you have primarily ladies as attendants you have some male guards that will be willing and able to lug thrones, treasure boxes, etc. That will save a *lot* of headaches..
Hopefully this is redundant advice from what you have already received, so you can dismiss it at will...
