Uh, well actually I'm passing on some of the three groups of things that I have been holding on to and now that I am Baroness I do not wish to continue to carry.

Tonight sees me passing on the gold key collection. I have already passed on the A&S boxes but now I need to pass on a few other odds n ends that go to my loverly volunteer.

I need to pass on Tempore Atlantia but that is in the works and will happen eventually. I hope.

As much as I love the spirit of volunteering my family says that we are not in fact a branch of the baronial storage facility and that having the stuff for one office at a time is quite enough.

So now my minivan is full and I am on my way to fighter practice.

A very smart decision. Being the coronet will keep you busy enough :-D

I resigned as Baron of the local group nearly four years go. A quarter of my attic is still filled with SCA stuff, even though I really don't play with the group anymore. In fact, the pile has increased as the group slowly dies. If I didn't house it, I don't know what would happen with it, and 24 years leaves you with some sense of obligation :\

Hmmmm, since it is SCA property you might want to contact the Kingdom Seneschal to ask how to dispose of it.

Oh you misunderstand. I'm not trying to get rid of it (I just wish that members of the local group could keep it better organized). I am amused to the max that I should be in this position.

I hear ya. Our poor exchequer starts on us in August to get our inventories ready for her for December! :-)

I understand! We housed the baronial 'stuff' for a while, but needed to find a new home when we had our basement refinished. Score 1! Of course, now we have the 'Baronial Stuff' stored in the finished basement.

And thanks for the reminder to haul the A&S box to barony meeting tonight to turn over. Not so much stuff, but it needs to go to it's new home.

I am such a dope. I gave Denis the old A&S records disc, and the acordian file and then proceded to forget to give him the easle, dry erase board and a rug frame.

Ah well there is always next Friday!

I do have to give Master Chirhart a big high five for HE stores the bulk of the baronial stuff. Between the trailer the barony owns that is in his yard and his barn we are able to keep our "treasures" centralised. The rest of us only have to keep what is directly tied to our offices.
