Batchlorette number 3.....

martelvoncI am temporarily a batchlorette for the next two weeks. The Knight has flown off to Hawaii to teach a course for work. I miss him already. That's a good thing after 23 years of being married!
I'm hoping to catch up on some housework while he is gone. I love my husband but with his exercise regime he goes through 3 changes of clothes a day-

He does wear some items more than once but it seems like the laundry pile never gets smaller!
I do have to say the laundry pile is a lot smaller when The Knight and Aelfwynn are not around.....
The truck is just about packed for Kingdom Archery Championship tomorrow. I just need to buy some lunch stuff and a bag of ice, then pack the cooler, the linen box, the lunch utensil box and a couple of personal baskets. Maybe I should pack a table too. It's supposed to be nice and I'm looking forward to it!
Unfortunately we will not be able to use the new Baronial period pavilion tomorrow. After close inspection one of the main roof braces is cracked and cannot be used until it is repaired. Master Chirhart is going to take care of this so we can use it for Crown Tournament in two weeks. So we will be using the regular modern 20x20 shade and it will be fine.
I hope to see folks there tomorrow!
