Remember when I said I was feeling out of sorts yesterday? Well there was a reason. I think I may have been channeling all the frantic activity of my friends and family.

Yesterday at Storvik Novice Tourney their Majesties Valharic and Arielle set me on vigil for the Order of the Laurel.

I had NO idea what-so-ever because everything that went on was what we usually do at an event. We bring pavilions, we bring enough food to feed an army and all the usual folks were there.

Absolutely Everyone, and apparently this was no small group, kept the secret.

I'll post more as my brain sorts out all the data.

The look on your face was worth every ounce of gleeful secrecy that we were privileged and honored to conduct on your behalf. What a treat it was to see you realize that The Laurels had come to fetch you! Your Elevation Ceremony was so beautiful. I didn't even suspect when folks were putting up the pavilion walls BEHIND ME for my vigil room!

I just figured that we were implimenting the plan Chirhart and I discussed the last time we used the new pavilion. We talked about hiding our junk behind a walled off section of the pavillion.

I'm sorry we missed it. The bat rastard, my husband, never let me know. (We had tickets for the matinee show of Camelot at Wolf Trap.) If he'd let me know, I could of found some way to make it or send messages or something. Grrr!

We'll be at W11 by the lake and will be arriving on Sunday the 5th. If we get there in time, I'll throw on some garb and run up to the battlefield. Monday is the Known World Cooks Potluck, but I do plan to take a little time away from the firepit to head up to the A&S area in the morning.
