Hooray! I'm feeling better!

So much better that I was able to get 2/3 of a new brown wool Viking apron done yesterday! I'm even hand finishing the seams. The stitching looks great on the outside and the gores are working too! Yeeha!

Since I haven't had time to tablet weave myself, I purchased perfectly matching 5/16" inkle trim from Whitewolf and Phoenix, http://whitewolfandphoenix.com/index.html, that will go on the top edge and act as the straps.

Will post photos later today. I should be able to get the pale green linen dress done by next Saturday for Feast of Fools too.

I need to go through My garb and do an assessment of outfits and update what I have or add needed accessories. There are a few new things I want to make and have to plan for them.

Got to go. AElfwynn is calling to leave for the Metro.

Ooh, ooh, very cool! Photos please!

I want to make a Viking outfit in the near future. It looks so simple ... and I've got two nice brooches from Lady Tirzah ... but I just worry that there will be some subtle thing that I will miss and people will make fun of me. Any suggestions, hints, guidelines?

Also, I was thinking of using linen rather than wool just so that it's more comfortable to wear at Pennsic. I hope that's a tad allowable....

Thank you in advance!

Tip no. 1-
Don't use hawaiian print fabrics unless you are attending the Sacred Stone Baronial Luau at Pennisc.
