Pennsic on the fly....

Got to see Molly elevated and got to present her with her elevation coat. I cried like the sentimental old broad that I am. Fortunately His Highness, Duke Logan was prepared in court with plenty of tissues for us. I'm getting teary eyed just remembering it now.
No drama for me or to me, in camp or out.
Got to go to 2 classes. (both embroidery related classes)
Got to see Chirhart, Alina and Catherine made Pearls.
Got to go to 2 vigils.
Had STC at Dunstan's vigil
Did not drown.
Got to do the A&S display. (my favorite event)
Got to go shopping.
I did well in the heat.
The majority of my stuff actually stayed dry in my land pimple of a tent.
Sleeping on my new Big Man Cot
Camping with House Wulfshaven
Mongolian Stir-fry night with House Blackstar.
Saw the performance Friday night of "The Lion in Winter"
The Luau Party at Sacred Stone
Laurel Patches of Power!
Learning the Laurel Secret Handshake!
Did not develop a Pennsic Cough this year.
Got to laugh A LOT with friends. I like laughing, a lot.
Got to see my Baronial Champion Fight in the BC tourney.
Scaring the beejeebers out of the Baronial Champions at the tourney with my "Morality" Question and my "General" question (hey, nobody said the questions had to be EASY ones! hehehe!)
No sunburn!
Battery operated table fans ROCK!!!!
BAD parts:
Almost non-stop rain that involved lightning
When it wasn't raining it was damned hot.
Missed the Pretty, Pretty Princess Party due to storms
Missed Celtic Happy Hour due to storms
Missed Flaming Dragon Party due to storms
Missed Ponte Alto Open House due to storms
Missed Goat Milk Party due to, you guessed it, storms.
Not enough cabana boys (must work on this for next year)
blech, I'm not bothered by rain but I am bothered by trying to trek in the mud in the dark.

Maybe I need to call the company, I got no man of any size with mine! Besides I think The Knight would take umbridge if I started purchasing camping equipment that CAME with men! LOL!
