Okay, Okay, I'll give up the theatrics...

I just booked our hotel room at the Days Inn in Kitty Hawk, NC for the weekend of April 16-19.

I GET TO GO TO THE BEACH!!!!! ahem...

Not only is it a trip for our 25th wedding anniversary which is April 28th,
(YIKES! MARRIED 25 YEARS!!!)

but this weekend is also the 30th anniversary celebration of the incorporation of the town on the Outer Banks where we own a 1/2 acre and will be retiring. We attended Southern Shore's 25th anniversary celebration in 2004 so it's fun to go back for this one too. It's a right nice little town and most of the town folks are, well, actually residents there as opposed to tourists.

I GET TO GO TO THE BEACH!!!! BEFORE WE VACATION IN JUNE!!!!!

I think I will survive the winter now.

April's a good month for anniversaries. We'll be celebrating our 20th next year.

I wanted to wait until later in the year. When the Knight asked me to marry him we'd only been dating 3 months. He did not want to wait. We got married after knowing each other for 9 months. :-)
