Yesterday was Atlantian Kingdom Arts & Sciences Festival. For those not from round' these parts it's our annual Kingdom level event to celebrate the artisans and all they do and learn. It's an opportunity to show off your work and to geek with others who also do the things you do and to see new wonderful research.
There are displays, competitions, performances, merchants, court, and classes to fill the day.
This year I displayed two embroidery projects, one completed and one newly started.
Seeing the amazing work of these artisans always gives me a shot of excitement to work on my own projects. It pushes me to better because the bar raises a little more every year and that is a good thing.
