Does this darn work basket have a bottom?
Mar. 20th, 2009 06:43 pmI'm thinking not...
Yesterday I hemmed a plain linen scarf to tie my hair back when I wear Norse clothing. I cut off the machine stitching and finished it with the handsewing. Much better!
This afternoon I hemmed a handwoven napkin to add to my new improving SCA linen collection.
Tonight I am watching Netflix and darning the toes of a pair of hosen.
So far with using the new rolled hem technique, my carpel tunnel syndrome has not been giving me fits. I'm very glad. Though I really should pick up a wooden darning egg/mushroom. I'm currently using a 75 watt light bulb. :-)
Enough of this back to work darn it!
(hehehe, get it? *darn it*? Never mind...)
