Coronation Sewing Begins.

Since I cleared out the unwanted fabric from the stash, wanted fabric has been found!

Tonight I started on a new Norse apron dress for TRH Vlad and Kalisa's coronation in 2 weeks. It is a linen blend, simple tan and natural colored plaid, and will have a linen under dress. Maybe I'll unlace my shoes and give them a bit of brown shoe polish to neaten the leather up a bit.

My reservations are made, gift plans are moving along, pavilion space has been requested, and I plan to shoot archery that day. All in all it looks to be a fun event! I like Coronations. They are laid back (for those of us not being crowned) and the pagentry is wonderful to see.

Will you be at archery Sunday? If so, I will try to bring you the black Viking cap and your gift from the Met (if I don't get stuck at the hospital). Unfortunately I am not going to be at Coronation as I have to work ('unless I have to work' should be just automatically appended to every one of my sentences at this point. sigh.)

Yes First the first half, I have to leave about 3:15-3:30 for the barony meeting at 4:00.

How did your display go over? It looked wonderful!

I'm sorry I was not able to make it on Sunday between taking the son out for his birthday meal and the barony meeting I just couldn't get there.

I hope work is not wearing you down too much.
