Time will be on my side...

In the next 12 weeks I will only be going to 3 events. This will hopefully give me time to catch up on SCA projects.
I'd like to sew new Middle Eastern garb for Bright Hills Birthday in February. I have enough time to complete it. Anybody have some ideas on some particular fabric to use for the outer layers? I have plenty of linen for the underwear.
My nalbinded socks are working down to the wire. One sock can actually be worn but I really need to add the cuff and the other one I have now started the heel. This is very exciting to me! The next pair will go much faster as I know more about stitch height and density now.
The garb rack is set up in the basement by my sewing table with all the garb on it and the older, unworn things have been sorted out. I need to make repairs and clear the sewing area and the work can begin again. The old unworn garb will go to the next barony swap meet night and hopefully it can go to a new home and the proceeds plowed into new fabric.
My latest embroidered book cover is calling my name from the frame. I really want this one. I must crack down and get it done. A silk Egyptian needlework piece is started and needs attention also.
but here I am writing away when I should be working! lol!!
