I went and did it.

I've applied for a job.
I emailed off my resume today.

The Chaplain at my mom's church needs a church secretary. They have been without one since the beg. of Dec. Mom brought this to my attention on Sunday when she came to dinner. I said " Low job stress and I'd be working for a very nice Chaplain. I'd like to do that." so Mom says "I'll talk to Chaplain Jimmie on Tuesday and see if he's filled the position."

He hadn't and was happy to hear someone might want the position.

He know's I'm not Lutheran but am United Methodist and is very okay with this since a lot of his congregation at the retirement community are not Lutheran either. He was very glad to hear I have people skills and can work a flexable schedule.

Mom would be glad to have Paul visiting at her apartment, which is across the parking lot from the church, most days working on his school work.

So think good thoughts for me.
