Back in town.
Jul. 9th, 2006 09:46 pmWe are back from the beach. We are all slightly bummed because we had to come back from the beach.
I finished my secret SCA project. I will post pics of later in the month as I what I have is a surprise. I am pleased with the way it turned out. I hope the person who I'm giving it to will like it.
My first pair of socks is down to the home stretch. I only need to knit the toe (about 1 1/2") on one and I'm close to getting ready to knit the toe on the other. I'm going to have JUUST enough yarn. They are wonderful and I am now a fully hooked sock knitter. I've started a second pair and Erica has asked me to knit her a pair for christmas. We bought the yarn for her pair while we were at the beach. I love socks! Little sweaters for my feet! La la la la la!
I was bad and did not get anything done on my Opus Anglicanum lion. But I will work on him this week.
I do need to start on another SCA surprise item. I have the plan and the materials. I just need to start it.
