It sucks to be us......

On his way home from work this afternoon The Knight got rear-ended on the Baltimore Beltway. He is fine, aggravated to all get out, but fine. The two of them called the police but after over 30 min the police never showed up so they canceled the call, exchanged information and they went on their ways.
The Escort on the other hand has a honking big section of the driver side, rear panel torn off.
He got all the information and at least the guy has Allstate insurance just like us. We go to the claim center in the morning to have them tell us what we do next.
If we are lucky we might get a rental car tommorrow to drive to 12th night instead of the mini van.
Sigh.....
