What are we?

I've been reading recently arguments/discussions about just what time periods the SCA encompasses.

Some say
600 to 1601 or
600 to 1600 or
Only Western European or
No other cultures because Western Europeans would not have had contact with these other cultures yada, yada, yada

so I said to myself,
"Self, why don't you go look at Corpora for your own d*** self and find out"

What I found was interesting as least to me, cause like most folks I think of Corpora as not being particularly entertaining reading.
