Pennsic, it is a comin'.
Jul. 23rd, 2008 08:26 amI have a nice new shiney clothes rack!
It is in the shape of a viking "A" frame and the initial wobbly problems were a simple fix of larger diameter clothes poles. It can be made wider or narrower by just placing the support sides on the pole closer together. It is a 7 piece rack and I will make a travel bag for it this weekend.
I want to make a second one after Pennsic to hold hanging shelves on ropes.
Thanks to everyone who sent me advice on woodworking.
Now I need a better tent. I must save for a square or rectangular one now.
I am currently taking in my dark lavender linen viking apron dress and hand seing down the seams. I think this will be the last garb item I will be able to work on for Pennsic this year. Next week will be spent sewing helm mantles, packing the truck, and marinating flesh.
