martelvoncHooyah! Mom was able to get the gold braid and 20 yards at that! I have a GOOD mom! I finished sewing together the outside and the lining & got all the seams trimed and pressed last night. The next three days will be the decorating and Friday will be the hemming and the cording on the hem.
All in all a good project so far & I hope the person I'm making it for will like it. They chose a good color and I wouldn't mind having some of this myself for a tunic or some such thing.
Well, the Mom will be here any time so I'd better get dressed and ready to go. She is a task master which is why I hired her for the job! That and she works cheap (read here: free).
