and the race continues...
Aug. 8th, 2005 03:37 pmwhew it's still hot today with threat of rain.
So today we:
condensed down 4 large (30gal) tubs to 3.
still have 2 smaller tubs (15gal)
started to pack stuff in the minivan.
We still have to get in:
the 2 small tubs,
1 large tub,
my project basket,
the archery stuff,
1 feast gear basket for my class,
1 extra cot after we buy it,
the bedding for the three of us,
1 cooler,
cases of soda,
My folding market cart,
the small folding luggage cart,
and that should be it.
As crazy as this sounds I'm going to take pictures of how we got it all in the minivan so that I can remember when it comes time to leave. Last year I had a hard time repacking the car because I could not remember how we got it all in!
With appropriate and judicious packing, for which I am a legend in my own time, we should be able to get everything in we want to take. It's a good thing the Knight is not going because he and his stuff will NOT fit in the minivan. We would be forced to take a second car or pack the roof. I'm trying to avoid packing the roof but will do so for smaller items if I have to.
Food and cooking gear would be hard to fit in too.
I remember the days when our SCA stuff used to all fit in the Chrysler station wagon or the toyota pickup truck but back then there was only the two of us.
