We have taken our third load of stuff to MICA for Aelfwynn. Now granted two of the loads were not "full to the brim" loads but we needed to go none the less.

I got her a back to school decorated cookie and she was glad. I got her some peach iced tea mix and she was happy. I pulled out the container of Fresh mozzerlla balls and tomatoe salad and I was her best friend! LOL!

I am reconciled to the fact I will be taking her grocery shopping almost every two weeks for fresh stuff. I think she wants the mom time too.

Her apartment is nice and she rooms with 3 other girls, one from Vermont, one from NJ and one from Mass.
They have already started to draw on the walls. But it's okay they are allowed to, it is art school after all. Each year they totally repaint the dorms in flat light grey paint for the next years artists.

I've got a good start on my work area in Aelfwynns bedroom. Boy, having decent light makes all the difference in the world. I have a small boom-box, the ironing board, my sewing machine and two good tables set up in an "L" shape. All in front of the window. My goal is to catch up on improvements and repairs to old garb and then use up the fabric stash on new garb before I hunt for more fabric. I can also work comfortably on my needlework. Sigh, Aelfwynn will just have to cope next spring.
