Needlework Blather
Sep. 16th, 2005 08:34 amHmmm, my needlework projects move on.
Currently the work list is:
2 roundels for a group (started),
a set of leaves and 1 rose (for extra repairs, no deadline, just needs to be done)
and possibly a 2nd set of roundels, all for the Atlantian cloaks.
The design sample for Nancy Spies,
Knitting christmas presents, (dish cloths and now pocket tissue covers),
My rozashi pieces to finish them up,
Embroidery on my blue viking cap closer to what was found at the Coppergate dig.
Also to work on my some of my documentation to neaten it up etc. for Kingdom Crusades.
Then there is always handwork to do on old garb and to plan for new garb for "Treachery on the Takaido" October 29. I'd like to make a kimono but I wouldn't get much wear out of it. Maybe I'll try to make something Mongol. I know I'd wear that more often and it looks comfy!
I'd also like to work up some very narrow tablet woven trim for my viking garb. I've got all the materials I just need to actually do it.
Hmmmmm, idle hands are the devils playground don't ya know!
