It's just not fair.
Sep. 26th, 2005 09:22 pmWe did not get to bring the son home today. He feels fine, he looks fine, he sounds fine, but they want to keep him another day because he isn't keeping his O2 levels above 95% all the time. Sometimes he dips as far down as 92%.
I am unhappy, the Knight is unhappy and Paul is unhappy AND bored.
This sucks wind big time.
P.S. (9/26, 11:30pm)
I won't be able to go to University this weekend since we are up in the air about Paul. Too much to do so little time. :-(

Date: 2005-09-27 03:32 am (UTC)I am really disappointed that he has to stay another night. I may give my kids a hard time but I love them to bits and I miss them terribly when they are gone.
sigh, :-(

Date: 2005-09-27 03:33 am (UTC)I am grateful for all thoughts sent Paul's way.
I know it sucks for both of you
Date: 2005-09-27 04:33 am (UTC)AND if they can get the sats up, he can put off the oxygen tank 24/7 longer.
Paul sounds like my Mom - dragging feet and fighting about going to the doctor, then wanting out the minute they get in the hospital. Love 'em, but sometimes I just want to play Wack-A-Mole.
Get some sleep - The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow...
Re: I know it sucks for both of you
Date: 2005-09-27 10:46 am (UTC)It's been over 12 years since Paul had to do a hospital stay for asthma. He only has problems once maybe twice a year and he takes no medication for it except when he has a problem. So it's hard to do anything proactive except avoid things that could trigger wheezing.
