Website Sadness

Bleh, I need to find a new host for the Household websites. Now.

The Knight in a bid to save us cash on the expensive DSL service we had, down graded our account. In doing that we lost our extra ISP address, yes, the one that was our website.

Now I do not find this a problem per se but he gave us no notice that he was doing this that very moment and now all of our websites are off the air. Kaput, dead in the water.

So, I could use a few suggestions about a reasonable priced host that is very user friendly as I am a complete design dolt.

Drak.net is what we use, and what we will be using for the business once I get the website going. VERY nice people.

I use Readyhosting, and have also heard good things about Godaddy. I also know that [livejournal.com profile] isenglass found one that was user friendly and free.

My Readyhosting account runs me for $99.00 per year for my hosting service.

I have been using Dream Host and have been very happy with them - so does [livejournal.com profile] lady_guenievre & [livejournal.com profile] soucyn (they recommended it to me).

Another friend of mine just did a bunch of comparissons and went with A Small Orange and he seems to be happy with them as well.

Hope this helps.
