Okay, I also thought for as rich as the Catholic Church is they could have at least gotten the guy a
capelet that laid nicer than the wrinkly Stiff Satin one he was given.

If they had time to get it in 3 different sizes then they had time to choose a nicer one. Good Grief.

There are advantages to owning a big screen TV. I don't own one, but I assume that on a big screen, you could determine the stitches used. Very different in real life from a museum display. But wasn't that why they used underside couching? for flexibility?

It a variety of padded couching, Jap gold and purl. I'd love to see that in much better detail.
