martelvoncI had a good time at University even if the building was very warm. Not sure why the college decided that air conditioning was a no go but there you are.
I got to attend my first real Pearl meeting. I'd been to a quickie meeting at a University last year but this one was a real sit down meeting. It wasn't painful and I liked hearing folks opinions on things.
I took two classes and taught one class. I took a very cool class on Medieval Diseases taught by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alina_s. She was very entertaining and her information was interesting. My next class was the "Board of Directors and You" taught by duchessmel. She is one of the people that I respect very much. Her Grace's discussion was very candid about what the board is, what it does, and how one gets on the board. Even after all the years I've been in the SCA there were things I did not know about the BOD.
University of Atlantia is one of my favorite events to attend second only to Kingdom Arts & Sciences fesitval. Some may feel there are problems with KA&SF but I still love to see the projects and the knowledge on display there.
Today has seen us re-arrainge the haus to make room for the daughter now that she is home for good. She has even volunteered to run a yard sale to try to get rif of the stuff we decided had to go. Now I hate all the work a yard sale requires and would rather just send it all to the goodwill store but she has a point we should get what cash we can and then donate whats left.
If anyone is interested I have a sewing table with 2 fold out leafs. It also has 2 pattern drawers one large drawer and 2 smaller drawers. It's a darkish wood piece of furniture.I'd like 50.00 but any decent offer would be entertained
There is also a chess table that will be going. Eric does not care for this chess table to play on because there is no room to write in score books or place pieces that have been removed from play. I'd like 35.00, once again any decent offer would be entertained.
Ah well the cleaning vulture that is my daughter is staring at me so I'd better get back to work....
