I am ruled by my feet.......
Oct. 11th, 2007 07:36 amI have a personal issue. I am only mildly embarrassed by the problem but as with all things most do not notice besides me.
I have feet the width of small towns. Including the suburbs...
That, and the top of my left foot swells for no discernible reason. This makes purchasing shoes all the more difficult- 5' 8" tall, Size 10 feet, Wide, and top of only one foot swollen.
Having two children did not help this situation.
At this point being able to find shoes that are comfy and fit is more important than just about anything else. Which is why I have taken to wearing "Crocs".

I have always loved clog type shoes because they have a wide toe box. At work all my co-workers are highly amused that I wear these shoes as they are admittedly VERY ugly but because they come in a Bazillion colors folks at work are more amused that I am color coordinated with just about anything I wear. Ugly AND stylish, who knew? I even make our CEO smile. :-)
Most of the folks working in the Health Care Center and Assisted Living already wear them and I am converting my co-workers in the office one at a time! LOL!
So I was quite excited to get a postcard in the mail today from Crocs for free shipping on my next on-line order! BOO YA!
Hmmmm, which colors? which style?
