The back of my minivan is full of rubble and I can't get to the landfill until Thursday morning which means one day going back and forth to work.

Eric also added the old landscaping bricks from behind the shed to the load.

sigh...

Old landscaping brick?!?!?!

Due to potential termite problems, we needs to replace our landscaping timber around the house with something less tasty to the critters. Is there any way we could arrange a hand off? Of course, I'm asking this way before Rorik gets up and I can't ask if he's willing [G]. But I am taking Thursday off as well, so I can be additional labor.

We also recently went to a building material reuse center in Bladensburg. They take old materials and resell them for enough to cover their operations - a particularly green enterprise. Pretty evangelistic about it too. The brick they get flys back out during the spring.

It's the red kind that are scalloped on top. Some are curved, some are brick shaped, Alot are broken into smaller bits, like about 12-18" long. I'm not sure what is useful but you're welcome to them.

We'd have to sort them out of the pile. Paul will be home with me tomorrow and can help too. We pulled them up from around our trees and now non-existant gardens. They've been behind our shed.
