For Sunniva_Kyrre

That folks wouldn't stress so much about it.
People should do it because it's fun, the learning, the making and the sharing. In 30 years I've not seen one stoning, hanging, or beating because an item or a class was not 100% authentic.
2.What keeps you motivated to play since the Knight no longer does?
I had the SCA long before I met The Knight. I met him in 1983 but I had been playing hard since 1978. The SCA is where we met but it does not define our relationship.
3.What is one art that you want to try and haven’t yet?
Hmmm, armoring, no, furniture making, no, pottery, no, wire making, no, never mind.....
4.What is the biggest difference in playing in other Kingdoms?
Not much really, that was what I liked about moving to England. We didn't know a soul but knew that when we found the local SCA group we all had common points of reference. We were all on the same page.
5.Who is the one person who has influenced you the most so far in this hobby?
There are many both good and bad.
The good have helped me have fun and the bad have helped me to recognize how to avoid not having fun.
The good- Gyrth and Melisande, Pickle and Troll, Dafydd and Elizabeth, Strykar,
to name only a few and not because some had been royalty but because they were good people.
The bad- lets just say I learned from them but will keep my counsel on who they were.
