1. What would you say has been the most challenging thing you've done in your life?
Getting our son through his first 16 years. He had such terrible GI, orthopedic, and pulmonary problems since birth. We did not know anybody else with a child with anomalies like Paul's and we still don't.
Fortunately he has grown up balanced, smart, remarkably healthy. Unless you see the the scars, you would have no idea of what he went through. The running joke in the family is he was like a used car, something broke, we put him in the shop, they fixed him and he was literally fine until the next time.
He just finished high school and is going to UMBC in the fall. Whew!
2. If you could have 'tea and crumpets' with anyone in history who would it be?
The person who designed the Bayeux Tapestry. I'd love to hear from them why they did what they did and what was supposed to be on the torn off end.
3. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy, stormy day off?
Read, then read some more, unless I get a better offer, if ya know what I mean....
4. If there was something you could change to be different in your past what would it be?
I would be more empowered and not let my father's depression and personal issues have such a negative impact on me.
5. How did you and The Knight meet?
We were introduced by our mutual friend, Earl Knarlic Wulfherson, at an event in the Spring of 1983.
Knarlic told Eric he should come to the SCA, he would meet girls.
I swear this is true.
