Students, Apprentices and asking permission.

Last weekend the wonderful and cheery Lady Ro was accepted as an apprentice by Mistress Anne of Hatfield, OL and OP. A wonderful thing for them both!

I have been teaching Ro embroidery these past 2 months so I thought I should ask Mistress Anne's permission to continue to work with Ro. I did not want usurp her Laurel/Apprentice relationship or offend Mistress Anne by continuing to teach Ro without her supervision.

I hope she allows me to continue. I've enjoyed working with Ro and I believe she has great potential in needle skills. If Mistress Anne declines my request I will fully understand.

Better to ask than to assume.
