We need a ... SHRUBERY!!
Jul. 7th, 2005 07:22 amWe now have a scrawny vaguely tree like shrub in our front yard. The Holly bush is down as far as we can take it until the robins move out.

The bird in the nest is the one where we cut down the branch only to find an occupied nest. We leaned this branch against the japanese maple, bunjee corded it in and the residents seem okay with it.
The dead patch is the place where the giant forsythia bush grew. You can see how small that patch of yard was for the size bush that left the dead patch.
Oh and for the unbelievers out there. I can grow plants and not have them keel over just from my karma. Hense pictures of my two container grown basil plants and the hostas in my front garden.
