martelvoncThe cloak is coming along swimingly! Especially since after much putting on and taking off I finally figured out how to apply the soutache braid so that it looks right. You do know there are no instructions on HOW to attach it but PLENTY on WHERE you can attach it.
There is also supposed to be a special braid foot for the sewing machine. NOW they tell me....no matter, I am getting the braid attached neatly without the fancy gee gaw.
I gave mom the day off tommorrow since attaching the braid is a one woman job. She will be back in the sweatshop on Thursday to help me with the hemming.
Enough of the break, back to the sewing machine.
