I've opened a Dreamwidth account so that I can read the A&S journals of folks who have moved over here. Depending on how it goes I may post more here and link it over to my Live Journal account.

Essentially, DW will let you import your old LJ. Then, set it up to xpost to LJ by default. Voila!

Importing..I haven't done that yet.

I commend to you the usage <user name="username" site="livejournal.com"> which is how you refer to an LJ user when you post to DW, since <lj user="username"> is parsed as a DW user. E.g. montuos montuos.
