I don't like winter.

and in case I was not clear, I DO NOT like winter.

The Son and I were outside digging out the hard frozen ice and snow from the drive way this morning. My carpel tunnel syndrome is going to kick my butt tonight. Can you say "ibuprofen"?

If it gets too bad come over - I have PRESCRIPTION pain killers...

And I'm so with you - my winshield wipers are currently stuck 1/4 the way up - they will occasionally move 1/2" up or down but that's it. Need to figure a way to melt/dig out all the ice in the channel that's blocking the actuators.

I feel your pain! baron_rorik is stretched out in his comfy chair with a prescription pain pad on his back. I ache from shoulders through the back into the hips. Gosling#1 seems to be doing the best, but she is curled up with extra warmth applied to herself. We were among the lucky crowd to loose power yesterday, and spent the time digging out. I had no internet access, or else I would have sent out an alert to people to dig out then, as yesterday was the last chance before the hard freeze. It may warm up on Saturday enough to make headway.

I hope it does warm up a bit. At this point we cleared enough to get the minivan in the driveway but I haven't worked out just where the Knight is going to park when he comes home tomorrow night. Sigh.
