I must do these lists to keep myself on track. So you can ignore me or read at your will.

Here is the current update on the project list-

My Opus Anglicanum Project is moving right along with the lion motif done and the border laid out and started. This is quite a large project but I look forward to finishing it as it will become a removeable cover for one of the many 3 ring binders I use. There are still a lot of hours involved here though. The embroidery frame and equipment has become a fixture beside my desk in the dining room. My family has become resigned to this.

I am also getting ready to start a super secret project. It is not for any reason other than I wish to make this thing but I cannot use it in the SCA. The time period is not right for how I usually dress. Besides the design will be very person specific and if I work on it at events the person will know it is just for them. Being a process artisan, I will have gotten the enjoyment of making the thing and then I will be happy to let someone else have the enjoyment of owning it. I have a cunning plan on how I will present the item. *insert evil laugh here.

I will be making some very tiny (2.5"x3.5") very later period goldwork bookcovers soon also. A friend expressed a secret desire to have one of my book covers and since I want to make 3 others, I will frame up a peice of velvet large enough to do all four at the same time. Once again the process needleworker raises it's ugly head. I will make it for the joy of making it and then I can give them away. This time though I am making one for me. *GASP!*

My bone carving has been on hold most of the winter. Due to the problem of bone dust I prefer to work out side so the change to spring weather will be most welcome. I'm just about done my pearl medallion and I'm about 1/2 way through my bone cloak pin. I'm also working on roughing out dice. The dice are so I can play stealth yatzee at events. I have a bunch of other small items I'd like to make. This is a time passer for when my embroidery brain needs a break.

You may think I have a lot of burners going all at once. It's true, I do, but I find I cannot work non-stop on one project. I need the mental break of rotating through a couple of things. Believe me I have more projects I want to do but I refuse to start theme until these projects are completed.

Somewhere in all of this I must make some new garb. I have two outfits planned, fabric purchased and ready to go. I need to purchase fabric for a third but this one but it needs a bit more research. I am not a great costumer but I am a servicable costumer. My fabrics are not always totally *period* in fiber content but I look passable. Not nearly as good as some but better than others.

That is all the news that is fit to print for today.

Sorry about ebay. I've been buying and selling there for almost 9 years now. I recyle old hobbies into new hobbies. :-)

raw bone is more effort than I want to put into it! LOL!

I may ask advice about selling on ebay - I have a bunch of stuff from my mom that needs a good home, and I think she would be pleased if I managed to sell it. I also have excess hobby stuff that needs new homes. Rorik will be pleased if I manage to make my habit self-supporting.

I envy the vocalness of your barony. sometimes feel like I'm talking in the void for all of the responses I get. Lucky Baroness!

I'd be glad to help you with Ebay. I need to go through some hobby stuff and do a recyle myself.

We are vocal aren't we! LOL! Sometimes good and sometimes not so good but we work things out in the end. I found that when the group sees things happen for them they become more interested. I'd rather not think we are just a curmudgeony bunch! :-)

My sister Terry dumped a bunch of her garb on me a few years ago to sell, but I'm not much of a merchant. Can I get in on this e-bay class? I have my digital camera working again.
