I was very happy today!
The Korean Market was selling fresh made Kimchi again! The lady was right there making it and bagging it up. The cold case display was just FULL of bags of cabbage and chili goodness!

Mmmmmmmmm, kimchi, mmmmmmmmm!

Kimchi jigae (soup) with tofu
Kimchi fried rice
chopped kimchi for a snack

Having lived in a buddhist monastery that had it's own ceramic tanks (yes they were that big- you could put people in that vessel) I am so happy that the kimchi is at your house and not mine. Bon appetit!

MY husband tried to make kimchi once. It's an experience I'll never forget.

I want to make my own as it's probably cheaper than buying it all the time. I like it a bit *fizzy* but my family doesn't like it so ripe so we eat it right away. :-)
